Why not journal?
Planning to journal is not journaling.
Thinking about journaling is not journaling.
Talking about journaling is not journaling.
Researching to journal, outlining to journal – none of this is journaling.
Journaling is journaling.
Sometimes when I'm trying to bring myself into focused attention on God and what He is saying, I journal. I write down my thoughts and questions, and as I do I listen for God's response and guidance. Then I write that down as well... Sometimes I'll let the pad of paper sit on my desk for a week and pray over it from time to time before I'm confident that I've heard from God. John Eldredge
